Eden Grove

Below are photos of the incredible ancient trees in the Eden Grove found in the Gordon River Valley, only a 45 minute drive from Port Renfrew within the traditional territory of the Pacheedaht First Nation. The Grove includes about 30 hectares of unprotected, valley bottom ancient forest. The grove is home giant Douglas-fir and western redcedar trees, including one cedar that’s over 12 feet wide. On Vancouver Island, 90% of the valley bottom ancient forest have already been logged. Sign the online petition to protect BC’s old-growth forests and forestry jobs at www.AncientForestPetition.com
